Submission guidelines are as follows:
We are always on the hunt for high-quality work from within our region that aligns within our aesthetic: authentic, genuine, and all-encompassing. Submissions are considered for print magazines, digital wedding guides, online articles or daily blogs. We celebrate diversity and welcome submissions of all kinds.
Types of submissions we are looking for:
- Real Weddings
- Anniversary Sessions
- Lifestyle Sessions
- Honeymoon Galleries
- Bridal Showers
- Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties
- Engagement Parties
- Day after sessions & Styled Shoots
We greatly appreciate seeing full galleries of professional-quality photos. Images need to be hi-res or at a minimum 2048 pixels wide (TOP EDGE) in both landscape and portrait frame with all branding removed. Preferred methods of photo transfer are:

also accepted but less enthusiastically:
Google Drive, WeTransfer, OneDrive
***If needed, please provide the gallery password and download pin at time of submission.
In the event you utilize Dropbox, a link to a Dropbox folder labeled with your company name and the name of the couple, product, or work with hi-res photos, a snippet from you and/or the couple regarding the day or styled shoot.
We require a minimum of 150 words or 500 characters and welcome additional snippets from vendors.
- Proposal: Behind the scenes from the couple or photographer
- Engagement Sessions: Couples proposal story
- Bridals: Couples proposal story
- Real Weddings: A blurb from the couple about their day
- Elopements: A blurb from the couple about their elopement
- Styled Shoot: Inspiration and tidbits about the design and how it was incorporated into the shoot
- Celebrations: Love story or info about the event
- Anniversary & Lifestyle Sessions: Couples love story – piece of advice from the couple.
No matter what type of submission we require the following to be featured:
Submissions cannot be published previously online, in print, or otherwise on one of Life Planning 4 You’s competitors. While we love what they do, we strive to feature new and fresh content for our readers. Please don’t hesitate to post on personal or vendor email
Approval must be granted by all contributing vendors and clients prior to submission
A list of all vendors and products included in the work please include website links and social media handles
Incomplete vendor listings will keep submissions from being accepted. We love supporting small businesses, giving credit is critical to everyone’s success! Please help us in making these talented folks grow and take the time to give proper credit to all who were involved! Commonly left out are accommodations, dress designer, dress store, men’s clothing, transportation, accommodations, officiant, rehearsal dinner location, jewelry, invitations designer, and favors.
Response Time to be Expected:
You should expect to hear from a member of our team by email within 2 weeks of your submission. In the event you do not hear back please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your submission has either not made its way to us or we are in need of a sweet pestering :)! Please don’t get frustrated if your submission isn’t accepted, there are many reasons submissions are denied, frequency of the type of submission, submission being out of season, need to maintain an equal balance for content from throughout the region, not falling within Life Planning 4 You’s aesthetic, not enough content, time since submission occurred, submission not being from within region and many more.
